This course explores the foundations of United Methodist belief and practice, including:
• How doctrine connects to the mission and movement of Methodism
• The historical development of Methodist denominations
• The Wesleyan understanding of grace and the means of grace
• How spiritual disciplines shape lives of holiness and purpose
We will be using the Leader’s Guide Living Our United Methodist Beliefs, along with companion resources that help bring our history and theology to life in practical ways.
